  I don't know anyone buried here, but it is a lovely place and I can tell a source of great pride and history for the people of New Salem. There is a wonderful monument to the hamlet's Civil War dead and veterans that was put up in the early 1900's. The cemetery has a fantastic view of the Helderberg Ridge as well for the families who visit it.
